The Loi Krathong festival is held in November every year. Every evening people release candle powered lanterns which cover the sky with their flames,\. The streets are jammed with celebrants and street food vendors. On the last day of the festival is the Thai version of the Pasadena "Rose Parade" with foats and a parade.
